An Ecumenical Right advocacy group, the Ecumenical Youth Association (EYA) has described the Muslim Right Concern (MURIC) as MUMURIC, spiritual terrorist and destabilisation agents, that has become a big disgrace to Islam.
MUMURC, as they are now called by the Ecumenical Youth Association (EYA), aka Ecumenical Right Watch, came under intense fire for it’s incessant insensitivity and insane attack and show of disrespect for Christian politicians, leaders and most especially the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), that is the representative of all Christians in Nigeria.
MURIC had, several times in the past and recently in two separate statements shortly after unveiling of Shettima by the APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, used insulting, disrespectful and derogatory remarks against CAN, the organization that represent the Body of Christ in Nigeria,described it as ‘spiritual bandits’ for opposing APC Muslim-Muslim ticket and a ‘disgrace to Christaindom, bunch of liars’ for speaking out against Fake Bishop and pastors procured by APC.
But EYA, in a statement by it’s Acting General Secretary, Bro. Musa Gungu Dogara, and Director of Media, Sis Sophia Godfrey, condemns in the strongest possible terms, the notoriety, mindless, shameless and insidiousness displayed by MUMURIC and it’s Director General, Prof. Ishag Akintola. They said, a bad child that insults other people’s father, will naturally attract or invite insult on his own father. As they say, he that wants to settle fight should first settle quarrel.
Prof. Akintola and his MUMURIC political group disguising as a religious group is exploiting religious fault lines for political benefits and is causing avoidable tensions in Nigeria.
“The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) position is our position and we stand with CAN all the way. Muslim Muslim ticket has already perished because, it’s a toxic cocktail of political stagnating growth and relic.
“APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has made his statement and choice, and we Christians will make our statement and choice come February 2023. And one thing we will assure Tinubu and MUMURIC is that, Tinubu life long ambition is dead already and will be buried on February, 2023.
Tinubu should not be deceived by the infinidecimal Christian Judas that are selling their birth right (Christian believe or faith) for a pot of portage (political patronage).
“We want to remind our Spiritual fathers, Mentors, Churches, et al, that this is like the biblical challenge between Israel represented in David and Philistines represented in Goliath and any Christian that supports or votes for the uncircumcised Philistines who has purposed to defile the Body of Christ in Nigeria has left the faith and has betrayed the Church of Christ, and are the real enemies of Christianity in Nigeria.”
‘CAN’s message is quite godly, simple, void of bias, straight & truthful. The Bible says in Zechariah 8:16 These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates & John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. It’s only the spoken truth that can free Nigeria from the clutches of APC satanic arrangement. And also Proverbs 14:12 says, There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end, it leads to destruction and death”. Tinubu has killed his life long ambition with his own hand.”
“If under President Buhari with a Pastor as Vice President, Christians are being killed almost everyday, we just don’t want to imagine what will happen to us under the APC evil arrangement.”
“Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu that should know better has blatantly refuse to, because even his marriage is a Muslim/Christian arrangement.”
“The group said, “In the 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, you won’t find the word Christianity, Christians, or ecclesiastic laws there, but you will find the word Islam, muslim and sharia law there. Islam is mentioned 28 times. Muslim is mentioned 10 times and it’s not a coincidence and yet Christians are tolerating it but will never again tolerate Muslim Muslim ticket.”
However, EYA commends CAN, Christians and church leaders like Bishop David Oyedepo and Hon. Babachai Lawal, Nigerians with fair and good conscience and sense of judgement, APC Muslim Youth Forum and Yoruba Youths Council that rejected, spoke and protested Against Tinubu/Shettima Muslim-Muslim Satanic Ticket which is aimed at disuniting Nigerians along religious line further.
We therefore, urge CAN, our Muslim empathizers and all Nigerians with sense of fair judgement to start mobilizing against the already ill fated ambition and strategy of Tinubu and the APC. Thank God we have two or even more options. God will put MUMURIC that has become the APC religious wing and their cohorts to shame.
