PDP Stakeholders Slams Adamu Waziri, Urges Atiku To End Vacation

Young stakeholders and advocates of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) under the aegis of the Concerned PDP League (CPDPL) has lambasted Alhaji Adamu Maina Waziri, for his insensitivity, rediculous and uncomplimentary comments against his excellency, Barr., Nyesom E. Wike, Governor of Rivers State, describing him as a desperate politician, adding that, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) stands a chance of losing the 2023 general election, if the tension rocking the party is not doused.

Atiku, Ayu under fire for shunning Ekiti PDP campaign

CPDPL in condemning the statement through its leader, Comrade Daboikiabo Z. Warmate, said the former minister of Agriculture & later police affairs, unholy attempt to further disunite the party and distort the peace process being initiated by concerned leaders of good conscience of our great party has failed already.

“This is an unpopular candidate who wasted PDP ticket/chances of governing Yobe state twice after losing his 2007 and 2015 governorship election under PDP presidency. And under his watch as the leader of the party in Yobe state could only give PDP 25, 526 votes as against APC 446,265 votes and 50,763 votes translating to 9.08 as against APC 497,914 votes translating to 89.01 in the 2015 and 2019 presidential election, respectively.”

“Meanwhile on the contrary, the man he is attacking won his election and also brought back PDP stolen mandate in 2015. And against federal might repeated same for PDP in 2019, under APC presidency. He gave PDP 1,487,075 votes as against 69,238 votes APC got in Rivers state, in 2015. And he in 2019, gave PDP 473,971 votes, translating to 73.81% as against APC 150,710 votes translating to 23.47% in the l presidential election.

“Wike presently worth not less than four (4) Million Votes compared to Waziri’s, which we do not know. And his riasing profile has Dwarfted Waziri’s political hight and tinted his political visibility, hence his outburst, Warmate said.

If not for PDP obsession with the title of former this or that but judge people by their contributions, we would have not being in this situation. PDP constitution needs to be amended to have human face and accommondate a lot of concerns.

The group also while calling on Atiku to immediately return back to the country advise him to be careful of those noise makers around him who could not give him the twenty five percent (25%) votes he needed in their states in 2019.

Comrade Warmate further said, Do you know that the 3 out of the 4 states in the nineteen (19) northern state Alhaji Atiku Abubakar won in 2019 are no more in support of him? And also do you know that five (5) complete states are no more in support of him and in eight (8) of the states it’s 50/50 out of the seventeen (17) southern states he won in 2019? Does he not acknowledge that, he no longer have any state in the south with full support and he is still vacationing in abroad? And with almost less than five (5) days to the Osun state governorship election the presidential flag bearer is yet to return back to the country. All those that went for vacation are back even those that went for medical check up, and for all we know he is not abroad on medical trip.

“Please Atiku don’t joke with our collective destiny, you applied for the job and we gave you the opportunity again, so come back home now and do the needful.”

“We have said it before, Atiku Abubakar can not Unify Nigeria without first unifying the PDP and to unify PDP, Ayu Must Go . He cannot rescue Nigeria without first rescuing PDP and to rescue PDP, Ayu Must Go. This is a fact that anyone can take to the market,” he said.

“Without genuine reconciliation across board, which must start with Ayu’s resignation, the challenges of defeating the incumbent shall be more herculean and may lead to an exercise in fultility at the polls. He should be a leader and take this bold step to unify the party ahead of wanting to unifying the Nation,” warmate concluded.
