NEC FALLOUT: PDP Chieftain Calls for Ugochiyere’s Suspension, Dispell Tenure Elongation Narrative for Damagum (Watch Viral Video)

Comrade Daboikiabo Z Warmate, a staunch member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), a seasoned political strategist and leader of the Concerned PDP League (CPDPL), a renowned pressure group in PDP, offered insights into the recent developments within the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) following its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting. In a viral video interview with Crack TV, Comrade Warmate dissected and clarified the tenure elongation  narrative for the Acting National Chairman and shredded Hon. Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere over his attacks on the Acting National Chairman and the PDP NEC, while commending the NEC showing strategic direction as Goverment In Waiting.

Comrade Warmate characterized the tenure elongation and North Central producing the National Chairman in the upcoming NEC meeting narratives as a well calculated and orchestrated propaganda aimed at embellishing the truth within the party ranks. He clarified and emphasized the fact that, the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in it’s 98th meeting neither discussed the issue of the National Chairman nor tenure elongation and the North Central producing the National Chairman.

The NEC agreed that, the issue will be discussed in their upcoming NEC meeting in August 2024, so how did the NEC elongated Ambassador Damagum’s tenure or said the North Central would produce the National Chairman in their next meeting when, they did not even discussed anything related to it, Warmate queried?

He claimed that, supporters of a certain politician who fly in from Dubai and feels he can take over PDP whenever he likes are the ones propagating this faslehood that is inimical to our great party. He also blasted the media for failing to do due diligence before going ahead to carry propaganda as news.

Comrade Warmate, in the viral video allegedly exposed the House of Representatives Committee Chairman on Petroleum downstream Hon. Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere’s involvement in anti party and called for his suspension. He said, Ugochinyere, does not have the political and moral right to demand for the removal or resignation of the Acting National Chairman of the party.

He questioned the criteria used in making Ugochinyere the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Petroleum downstream, being that, he is a first timer in the House and coupled with the fact that, he is not a member of the ruling party and also not from an oil producing Constituency, Knowing fully well that, there are members in the Green Chamber from Imo and other Niger Delta States, who are ranking members that are in the ruling APC and who comes from oil producing constituencies.

He said, two things are involved:

1.That Ugochinyere may have compromised and negotiated away PDP interests for his own benefit.

2. That Ugochinyere have allegedly used money to buy the position of an influencial select Committee Chairman on petroleum Downstreamship of the House of Representative as a first time lawmaker. Otherwise, if he was to be considered for any Committee Chairmanship, it would have been “Information” for his noise making. Though, he is a lawyer, he didn’t study any of the laws related to oil like energy, gas or petroleum law.

Comrade Warmate alleged that, Ugochinyere is dinning, winning, bedding ,pepper souping, ishewulizing and barbecuing with the ruling party, APC, and other self centered and retrogressive elements in the party that are sponsoring him; therefore, he should be suspended for anti party. Ugochinyere lost his voice all this while because, he was observing table manners.

Also the political activist clarified that, Amb. Damagum’s continue stay in office is not victory for Wike, G5 or anybody but rather a victory for PDP and those that wishes PDP well. The PDP political strategist queried that, ‘how would it have been victory for anyone, that it’s another propaganda from those enemies of the party, and that, it will be a strategic failed for PDP to want to replace the Acting National Chairman. He added that section 47 (6) of the PDP constitution does not prescribe time limit for an acting capacity’.

However, he commended and totally supported the decision of the PDP NEC, but also expressed the fact that, he was not totally satisfied with their decision, but in their wisdom, they have done what is best for the PDP.
