The Leader of the Concerned PDP League (CPDPL), Comrade Daboikiabo Z. Warmate, has expressed his disappointment over the condescending treatment of PDP, PDP Acting National Chairman, and members of the PDP National Working Committee during the second term inauguration of Governor Duoye Diri on 14th February 2024.
During the inauguration, the PDP national delegation ably led by the National Chairman, His Excellency Ambassador Umar Illiya Damagum, was not allocated a seat either in the VIP or VVIP section on the platform.
This ugly incident was the precipitating basis that led Comrade Warmate, to take a swipe at the Bayelsa State Government House Protocol, the Chairman and SWC members of the PDP Bayelsa State chapter, and the protocol unit at the PDP National Secretariat for the ill-treatment meted out to PDP leaders and the apparent failure to observe protocol, during the second term inauguration of the Bayelsa State Governor.
The PDP Chieftain and National Leader of the Concerned PDP League (CPDPL), demanded apologies from Governor Diri, the Chairman and State Working Committee (SWC) of Bayelsa PDP, without any equivocation. Comrade Warmate also called for the sack, or at least the suspension of the Head of Protocol of Bayelsa State Government House and PDP National Secretariat for gross negligence and dereliction of duty.
In a video that has gone viral, Comrade Warmate commended the PDP Governor’s Forum for the vote of confidence passed on the Acting National Chairman’s led National Working Committee (NWC), and for expressing the frustrations of Nigerians their communique concerning the rampaging hunger in the land and the heightened insecurity throughout the length and breadth of our nation. The Concerned PDP League is in total support of the resolution of the PDPGF.
