A cinema complex has been evacuated after a large brawl broke out.
Up to 70 people, many of whom were youths, allegedly started fighting in packed entertainment complex Star City near Nechells, Birmingham.
Police said this evening that a group of people with machetes had arrived at the cinema within the complex.
They added: “Officers arrived to find a group of more than 100 people, and pockets of fighting broke out as police moved to clear the area.
“A number of police officers have been assaulted, and several arrests have been made.”
Several armed police are at the scene with tasers, Birmingham Live understands.
Witnesses tweeted the youths were scrapping over new gangster film Blue Story.
