ROYAL BABY: Queen Meets Archie

After first introducing their newborn to the world this morning at a photo call, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have revealed the child’s name in a sweet new Instagram post. And based on the photo they shared, little Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor’s grandparents can’t get enough of him.

The post features a touching shot of Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, and Doria Ragland (Meghan Markle’s mother) all leaning over to get a peek at the tike, who’s swaddled in a white blanket.

“This afternoon Their Royal Highnesses introduced Her Majesty The Queen to her eighth great-grandchild at Windsor Castle,” the caption reads. “The Duke of Edinburgh and The Duchess’ mother were also present for this special occasion.” Meghan and Harry’s @sussexroyal Instagram account shared a black-and-white version of the image, while @theroyalfamily, the royal family’s main handle, opted for full color.

Everyone in the family photo is clearly overjoyed with Archie—including his parents. During this morning’s meeting with the press, Meghan and Harry answered a few questions, and couldn’t help but gush over their first baby.

“It’s magic. It’s pretty amazing,” Meghan said. “And here I have the two best guys in the world, so I’m really happy.”

She also noted that they were looking forward to introducing him to his royal great-grandparents—and had actually already did so with one. Although they were slated to meet with the Queen and Prince Philip just after they spoke with the media, they’d had a run-in with Philip. “We just bumped into the Duke as we were walking by which was so nice,” she said. “So it’ll be a nice moment to introduce the baby to more family, and my mom’s with us as well, so, it’s been a really good time.”
