London Marathon 2019: Kipchoge And Kosgei Win Men And Women's Elite Races

Thousands of runners took to the streets of London this morning to take part in the 2019 London Marathon, including Sir Mo Farah.

Four-time Olympic champion Farah is currently was looking to improve on his third-place finish last year and win his first London Marathon.

Three-time race winner Eliud Kipchoge entered the race as the overwhelming favorite having smashed the marathon world record last September in Berlin.

Defending women’s champion Vivian Cheruiyot was also in action, as well as her fellow Kenyan Brigid Kosgei.
