Fire has gutted a part of Muda Lawal Market, in Bauchi metropolis on Thursday.
Several shops including vehicles were razed in the inferno that lasted for almost 2 hours.
A source who spoke with our correspondent in confidence said the fire incident occurred as a result of an overloaded vehicle with mattresses which collided with an electric pole.
